Dragon School has an exciting opportunity for a Visiting Music Teacher (Piano) to join the team. We are seeking to appoint a part-time term time only piano teacher to teach children aged 6 – 13 for around one day per week.

The successful candidate must have experience teaching this age group and should be dynamic and engaging in their teaching style. They will be required to demonstrate a solid understanding of technique and performance skills at interview.

The candidate will need to be available to give demonstrations and provide taster sessions for new pupils, in order to promote the piano and generate a greater teaching timetable.

The successful applicant may be asked to help support the Head of Keyboard or run a piano ensemble or piano trio for various age groups and abilities, if appropriate, once their position has commenced. This will involve working alongside the Director of Music and Head of Keyboard, in order to assist the children in preparation for concerts and school events.
