This is a great opportunity to take the first steps in your hospitality career and work as part of our Front of House Team at The Dragonfly Hotel, Peterborough. Whilst our kitchen team delivers full food service to residents, preparing and serving three meals daily, as an FOH Assistant you will support front of house operations, ensuring smooth service and delivering excellent guest experiences by embracing our ‘Ownership with Personality’ values.
The Dragonfly Hotel is a 70 room hotel set in a peaceful riverside location on the outskirts of Peterborough, close to Thorpe Meadows and the River Nene. The hotel features an on-site restaurant and bar, offering a welcoming environment by our team.
To be a successful part of our FOH Team you will need:
- A positive, can do attitude towards all residents and other team members.
- A willingness to learn about different food styles and service, learn the menus and understand how to explain each dish to our guests.
- Great communicator that enjoys interacting with residents in a lively, fast paced environment.
- Have and continue to develop a strong understanding of the restaurant environment.
- Meet all site standards of service and work.
- Opening and closing shifts with team, which will include weekends & bank holidays on a pro rata basis.
