Dragonfly are keen to hear from editors in the early years of their careers who have a passion to work on high‐end factual television. In partnership with the BBC, Dragonfly have an opportunity for such an editor to work on the next series of acclaimed specialist factual series 'Surgeons: At the Edge of Life'. Over a 6 week period, the successful applicant will learn craft editing and storytelling skills working alongside an experienced senior film editor. They will also cut stand‐alone packages that form an essential part of each episode, as an integral part of the Surgeons post‐production team. They will be supported by the executive producer, series editor, series director and BBC commissioning editors to understand how a complex, multi‐part, multi‐camera series is crafted in post‐production. This position will be in‐person at a facility house in Glasgow.
