As a volunteer content creator you will help our charity share engaging stories, information and updates across digital channels to raise awareness, build community and support fundraising. You will plan and produce multi-format content across all channels.

You will help Dragonfly reach more families, referrers and supporters by sharing clear, compassionate stories about its memory-making work for young cancer patients. By creating engaging content about cash gifts, sibling and memory boxes, you will highlight real impact, inspire donations and volunteering, and strengthen relationships with hospitals, hospices and the wider community.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for a volunteer who has at least three years experience, is creative, empathetic and sensitive to the experiences of young patients and families. They need strong writing skills, good attention to detail, reliability, discretion, and the ability to follow brand, safeguarding and confidentiality guidelines while working independently and as part of a small team.
What will you be doing?
- You will create engaging digital content (social posts, short videos, graphics, blogs or emails) that showcases the charity’s impact, services and campaigns.
- Work with staff to plan content around key dates, projects and events, ensuring messages are accurate, on-brand and sensitive to beneficiaries.
- Schedule and post content, monitor basic engagement and help to refine ideas based on what audiences respond to.
