Administrative Assistant – Volunteer
Dragonfly Cancer Trust is looking for an administrator to support the work of the CEO with day‑to‑day operational tasks. This rewarding role will enhance your skills through a variety of opportunities.
As a volunteer, you will make a difference by ensuring effective communication, organisation, and coordination within the charity, enabling it to focus on supporting young cancer patients with life‑limiting diagnoses.
Responsibilities
- Meeting coordination: sending out agendas, scheduling meetings, and taking minutes.
- Database management: keeping records and databases up to date and monitoring feedback from patients and their families.
- Thanking donors and supporters.
Requirements
- Administrative experience: diary management, scheduling, and organising meetings.
- IT skills: comfortable using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Commitment: strong dedication to Dragonfly Trust’s mission.
- Time availability: willingness to commit a minimum amount of time each week.
- Teamwork: enjoys working as part of a collaborative team.
- Communication skills: ability to effectively interact with team members.
