As we enter our next phase of growth, we’re looking for an exceptional Head of Acquisition to join our leadership team and play a key role in shaping how we scale.
About the Role: This is a senior, high-impact role for a digital acquisition leader who is as comfortable setting strategy as they are getting hands-on with platforms, data and execution. Reporting directly to the founder, you’ll own DragonBet’s non-affiliate digital acquisition strategy across the UK and Ireland. You’ll have significant autonomy, direct influence over growth decisions and the opportunity to build a scalable, best-in-class acquisition function from strong foundations. You’ll initially manage a small in-house team (three direct reports), with scope to grow the team as the business expands.
What You’ll Be Doing: You’ll own and shape DragonBet’s digital acquisition strategy across regulated markets, turning commercial goals into clear, measurable growth plans. Working closely with the founder, you’ll influence decisions on investment, expansion and how we scale sustainably. You’ll lead non-affiliate acquisition across PPC, paid social, display and SEO, driving continuous testing and optimisation across the funnel. You’ll stay close to the platforms and the data, owning performance across CPA, LTV, payback and cohort performance, while balancing short-term efficiency with long-term customer value. As a senior leader, you’ll build and develop a high-performing in-house digital team, manage and challenge agencies and partners, and help shape in-housing decisions as the function grows. You’ll work closely with product, trading, CRM and compliance teams to improve conversion and retention, while ensuring all activity meets UKGC, Irish and future regulatory standards and embeds responsible gambling at its core.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong digital acquisition background within online betting and/or gaming
- Proven success driving efficient customer growth in competitive markets
- Hands-on experience across paid media and SEO
- Experience leading and developing teams
- Commercially sharp, analytical and comfortable owning performance
- Experience in challenger or founder-led businesses (desirable)
- Exposure to multi-market or international launches (desirable)
- Understanding of sportsbook customer behaviour and lifetime value (desirable)
- Equally comfortable operating at strategic and executional levels
- Pragmatic, disciplined and commercially focused
- Strong alignment with responsible growth and long-term value
- Confident communicator who enjoys working closely with founders
