Our client is a market-leading technology company with business segments in both the UK and Europe. As a result of planned growth, at this exciting stage of the company’s development an outstanding opportunity has been newly created in the relatively small, but growing finance team. As Management Accountant, reporting to and working closely with the Financial Controller, you will support both the financial accounting and operational finance functions across the business to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the finance function.

In this broad-based role, you will:

  • Assist with the preparation and delivery of quality, insightful monthly reporting and analysis
  • Manage and maintain the integrity of the nominal ledger, including reconciliations and variances
  • Oversee the preparation of VAT, Intrastat and EC filings
  • Prepare UK and European payroll
  • Maintain assets registers and review payment runs
  • Manage cashflow forecasting

We seek a high calibre individual, who we envisage will bring a minimum of 2-3 years’ directly relevant management reporting experience to the table; the broader/more operational experience the better. Strong excel skills are required too, please. You may be newly qualified, part-qualified or perhaps QBE. However, this is a role that will grow and develop, and will require continuous improvement.
