Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in the United Kingdom for various Mentors. The role involves delivering personalized learning experiences and supporting young individuals to achieve their educational and personal goals. The Mentor will develop and implement tailored learning plans, mentor students, and address SEMH needs to help learners overcome challenges. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with schools, parents, and professionals to create customized interventions, monitoring progress, and ensuring students receive the support they need to thrive. The role requires a proactive and compassionate approach to create safe and nurturing learning spaces.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in mentoring, coaching, and one-to-one support
- Experience in developing tailored education plans and supporting functional skills
- Knowledge of social, emotional, and mental health needs and strategies for intervention
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, schools, and multidisciplinary teams
- A background in education, counselling, youth work, or a related field
- Organizational skills to develop and monitor Individual Learning Plans (ILPs)
- Experience with tools such as BKSB or education assessment platforms is beneficial
- Commitment to diversity, inclusion, and fostering a positive and supportive learning environment
