Contribute to our mission, Technology for Life. Reporting into the National Workshop Manager, the new Trainee Service Technician ("TST") will be based at our Notting Hill head office. Following the completion of training requirements, the TST will attain a full Field Service Technician status. The TST will start at an entry level, participate in servicing Draeger safety devices, and undertake a comprehensive hands-on training program over the course of 2 years.
Responsibilities
- Maintenance, repair, and testing of safety devices for customers
- Generate service reports for customers via CRM Service
- Prepare quotations for customers
- Prepare, negotiate, and gain agreement for new and current service contracts
- Generate, develop, and maintain the rental business
- Deliver technical product training courses to customers
- Provide professional, efficient, and reliable customer service
- Apply a compliance-focused mindset across all operations
Qualifications & Attributes
- Completion of Year 11 or 12
- Aptitude to learn how to service, repair, and maintain the Draeger Safety product range
- Ability to read and understand technical documentation and diagrams to address technical problems and provide effective solutions
- Proficiency in routine arithmetic and ability to understand pricing structures to complete quotations
- Ability to articulate verbal and written company/product information to internal and external stakeholders
- Proficiency with IT software including Microsoft Office applications
- Adaptability and readiness to handle multiple, changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn
- Exemplary understanding of compliance rules, with a proactive mindset and the ability to uphold and promote compliance standards
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, verbal and written communication, organisational, and task-management skills
- Current Driver’s License
- A Police Check will be required for this position.
