About the role

  • Perform scheduled maintenance visits and corrective repairs, as directed, on medical devices.
  • Perform warranty repairs, as directed, on medical devices.
  • Perform installation and commissioning activities, as directed, on medical devices.
  • Perform technical corrective actions, as directed, on medical devices.
  • Complete required company documentation, such as electronic test procedures, as necessary.
  • Provide feedback of the quality situation and any issues from field to the Service Management
  • Team via regular meetings within local team.
  • Work within the processes of Draeger’s quality system & work instructions.
  • Track installed base accuracy and report variances to Service Support Team.
  • Provide support to sales for replacement / special sales programs.
  • Provide support to sales and marketing for congresses, exhibitions, demos,
  • workshops, etc.
  • Provide support to sales to develop contracts and assist in achievement of business goals.
  • Maintain company assets such as laptops etc. & tools in accordance with company guidelines.

Size of team/environment - Size of team/environment - Close area team of 6 engineers working within a larger region of 21 multi-disciplinary engineers across the North of England.

Role Requirements

Education/Qualifications

  • HNC or equivalent in electronic/electrical engineering or related subject is essential.
  • Related Experience
  • Previous relevant experience, typically gained over a period of two years or more, is ideal.
  • Applicants for the position should have proven experience over a wide range of capital equipment & systems.

Ideally with experience of medical or safety related devices and background.

  • Able to deliver a high level of customer care and develop long standing customer relationships.
  • Ability to organise and prioritise to meet a wide range of diverse & demanding activities.
  • Be reliable, honest & trustworthy and act as an ambassador for the company at all times.
  • Team Orientated.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Assertiveness skills.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • IT Competent.
