About the role
- Perform scheduled maintenance visits and corrective repairs as directed on fixed gas detection systems
- Perform warranty repairs, as directed, on safety and medical devices.
- Perform installation and commissioning activities, as directed, on safety and medical devices.
- Perform technical corrective actions, as directed, on safety and medical devices.
- Complete required company documentation, such as electronic test procedures, as necessary.
- Provide feedback of the quality situation and any issues from field to the Service Management
- Team via regular meetings within local team.
- Work within the processes of Draeger’s quality system & work instructions.
- Track installed base accuracy and report variances to Service Support Team.
- Provide support to sales for replacement / special sales programs.
- Provide support to sales and marketing for congresses, exhibitions, demos,
- workshops, etc.
- Provide support to sales to develop contracts and assist in achievement of business goals.
- Maintain company assets such as laptops etc. & tools in accordance with company guidelines.

Size of team/environment - Close area team of engineers working within a larger region of circa 20 multi-disciplinary engineers across the South of England

Role Requirements
Education/Qualifications
- HNC or equivalent in electronic/electrical engineering or related subject is essential.
- Related Experience
- Previous relevant experience, typically gained over a period of two years or more, is ideal.
- Applicants for the position should have proven experience over a wide range of capital equipment & systems.
Ideally with experience of safety fixed gas systems, related devices and background.
- Knowledge of gas detection principles
- Able to deliver a high level of customer care and develop long standing customer relationships.
