The Demo Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the outside Sales organization by coordinating and managing demo equipment for customer evaluations and trials. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multitasking environment. This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities while ensuring a high level of customer service and operational excellence.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with Sales to schedule demo equipment and associated services based on customer needs.
- Coordinating with internal teams and third-party logistics providers to manage shipments, track returns, and ensure timely transportation of equipment.
- Monitoring equipment usage timelines and proactively addressing delays or scheduling conflicts.
- Initiating appropriate actions in response to incomplete, delayed, or damaged equipment returns.
- Ensuring all demo-related processes align with legal and compliance standards as defined by the Draeger Legal team.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to demo inventory, shipments, service requests, and returns.
- Communicating effectively with cross-functional teams including Sales, Service, Logistics, and Compliance to ensure smooth execution of demo activities.
- Contributing to process improvements and efficiencies within the demo coordination function.
- Coordinate personnel onboard/exit process with regard to demo assets.
- Ensure all eligible field personnel are properly setup to submit demo requests.
- Train all personnel on Demo guidelines and procedures.
- Solicit and record feedback from sales/requestor regarding demo request and equipment.
- Monitor, enter, and update dispatch and/or return requests as needed; work with Service Support and the Customer success team as needed.
- Maintain necessary sales rep/requestor data via DEMS NA Tool, CRM and SAP.
- Perform other duties as needed and assigned.
Your Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent in education, training & experience.
Related Experience: This is an entry level position. Customer service experience preferred. Asset Management/Scheduling or similar relevant experience. Experience working with Transport providers preferred. Reporting experience. 1 to 2 years’ experience.
