We are seeking a motivated Graduate Engineer to support maintenance and asset reliability activities across a site operating approximately 350 assets. This role will focus on improving equipment reliability, analysing maintenance data, and supporting the transition from reactive to proactive maintenance strategies. The position offers excellent exposure to both mechanical and electrical systems, providing a strong foundation for a career in reliability or operations engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Asset Reliability & Maintenance Improvement
- Support asset criticality assessments across site equipment
- Improve/project manage upgrades to legacy assets and systems
- Assist in the development and optimisation of preventive maintenance strategies
- Contribute to predictive maintenance and condition monitoring initiatives
- Identify opportunities to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
- Data Analysis & Continuous Improvement
- Analyse failure trends using CMMS and maintenance data
- Identify aging and end-of-life equipment, planning upgrades or replacements, and minimising downtime through proactive lifecycle management
- Identify recurring failure modes and improvement opportunities
- Support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations
- Track and report key reliability KPIs such as MTBF and MTTR
- Operational Support
- Work closely with maintenance and operations teams to support day-to-day activities
- Assist in troubleshooting equipment issues and identifying solutions
- Support continuous improvement and reliability projects across the site
- Cost & Performance Optimisation
- Contribute to initiatives aimed at reducing unplanned downtime
- Support efforts to optimise spare parts usage and maintenance costs
- Assist in improving asset lifecycle performance

Role Requirements
- Education/Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline)
- Recent graduate or early career
- Related Experience
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Interest in maintenance, reliability, and asset management
- Basic understanding of mechanical and/or electrical systems
- Proficient in lean methodology and practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis skills desirable)
- Knowledge of CMMS systems (desirable but not essential)
