About the role
As a Lean Six Sigma Engineer, you will support the development and implementation of end-to-end continuous improvement initiatives across the business. Applying Lean tools and Six Sigma methodologies, you will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify and remove inefficiencies, reduce waste, improve process performance & throughput time. This is a hands-on production focused, and project-driven role designed to significantly improve assembly and manufacturing processes throughout the value stream.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and assist in identifying, analysing, and improving existing business processes using Lean tools & Six Sigma methodologies.
- Lead, participate, and support Kaizen events, root cause analyses, and problem-solving workshops.
- Collect and analyse data to measure performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Lead and/or support the implementation of improvement projects and monitor outcomes to ensure sustainability.
- Develop process documentation, standard work, and visual management tools to support optimisation and standardisation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency, stability, and process repeatability and reproducibility.
- Help foster a culture of continuous improvement by promoting Lean thinking across the organisation.
- Provide reports and presentations to stakeholders on project progress and outcomes.

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
- Black Belt Certification (or willingness to obtain).
Related Experience
- Experience in a medium-fast paced assembly and manufacturing environment.
- Project Management experience.
Skills, Special Competencies
- Knowledge of Lean principles and Six Sigma tools (e.g., DMAIC, 6S, value stream mapping, root cause analysis).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Minitab, or similar).
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organised, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying and resolving issues.
