About The Role
As a Project Manager, you will lead and manage projects within the R&D department of Draeger's Safety Division. Your contribution to the success of the business will be through:
- Delivering and documenting a range of projects in accordance with Draeger processes
- Leading and managing multi-disciplinary project teams, within a highly regulated industry, often cross functional and cross site
- The responsibility and accountability for the planning and control of project budgets and resources, working closely with Controlling to provide transparency and accurate forecasting
- Effectively managing and controlling project risks and opportunities, leading the team to identify, allocate and mitigate with effective measures to reduce project risk
- Maintaining outstanding stakeholder engagement through excellent communication
- Clear and concise reporting to Project Control Boards, Sponsors and other Stakeholders
- Ensuring the effective close-out of projects and handover into lifecycle

Education/Qualifications
Role Requirements
- Degree in an Engineering discipline or significate industry experience of delivering technical/engineering projects
- Relevant professional qualification in Project Management (desirable, although not essential)
Related Experience
- Relevant project management experience in the delivery of cross functional and multi-disciplinary projects
- Experience in the project management of R&D projects and project lifecycles
- Experience in accountability for project budgeting, tracking & reporting as well as forecasting of projects
