Role Responsibilities
- Commissioning of new Draeger product (Breathing Apparatus and Gas Detection).
- Repair of Breathing Apparatus and supporting equipment (e.g. Telemetry, Cylinders).
- Repair of impairment and portable gas equipment.
- Correct use of repair documentation.
- Completion of service documentation (e.g. test reports, calibration certificates).
- Execute technical corrective actions.
- Preparation of equipment for rental orders.
- Support wider DMO and RSS operations such as Marine and Offshore service, RSS Onsite Services.
- A proactive approach to improving workshop efficiency and safety.
- Correct handling of all tooling/test equipment.
- Ensure safe handling of compressed air/gas cylinders.
- Flexible approach to other repair orientated tasks as required.
The tasks and responsibilities above are typical of the duties the postholder will be expected to perform. It is not necessarily exhaustive and other duties of a similar nature and level may be required from time to time.

Education / Qualifications
- GCSE Grade 4 or above in English, Science and Mathematics or equivalent.
- Or English, Science and Mathematics at Nat Level 5.

- Genuine Interest in Mechanical/Electronic Engineering.
