About the Role

This graduate placement offers an excellent opportunity to build a career within manufacturing engineering and operational excellence. The successful candidate will work closely with technicians, engineers and production operators to develop and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across a live manufacturing environment. The role provides valuable exposure to continuous improvement, engineering documentation, manufacturing processes and cross‑functional collaboration within a global technology business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, review and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for manufacturing and support processes
  • Collaborate with technicians, engineers and operators to capture best practices and process knowledge
  • Observe manufacturing activities to ensure documentation accurately reflects operational methods
  • Support standardisation and continuous improvement initiatives within Operations
  • Ensure documentation is controlled, structured and aligned with quality requirements
  • Assist with visual work instructions and process flow documentation
  • Participate in improvement workshops and operational meetings
  • Support engineering teams with general technical administration and reporting
