The successful candidate will support the creation and maintenance of CAD layouts for production areas while developing systems to manage engineering assets, jigs and fixtures. The role offers hands-on experience with manufacturing operations, engineering change management and layout optimisation within a high-technology production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain CAD layouts of manufacturing and production areas
- Update and maintain registers for jigs, fixtures and production tooling
- Support factory layout optimisation and workspace improvement projects
- Conduct physical audits of production equipment and tooling
- Assist with engineering change activities and layout revisions
- Support visual factory management initiatives
- Collaborate with engineering, maintenance and production teams
- Ensure records and layouts remain accurate and controlled

Related Experience
The ideal candidate will have an interest in manufacturing environments, CAD systems and engineering asset management. University project work, placement experience or practical exposure to engineering design or factory environments would be advantageous.
