We are looking for an experienced CAD Technician to work on the IERRT port extension project in Immingham. We are looking for someone with a proven background in working on major civil / marine projects, be able to hit the ground running and be able to instantly contribute to the engineering project team.
Key Responsibilities
- The production of Temporary Works drawings
- The production of Permanent Works drawings
- Supporting the project team by producing sketch drawings when required
- Supporting the Quantity Surveying team by calculating areas and volumes using both 2D & 3D CAD software.
- Liaise with Engineering, Survey & Construction departments to obtain information needed for drawings.
- Efficiently file CAD files and maintain drawing registers.
Technical Skills and Competencies
- Ability to produce drawings to a high standard to very tight deadlines
- A good knowledge of civil engineering methods and techniques
- Candidates should bring a portfolio of work to the interview to demonstrate relevant skills & experience
Qualifications, Certifications And Experience
- Experienced in using AutoCAD & Civil 3D on large civil engineering projects
- A HNC in Civil Engineering or similar would be desirable but candidates with relative work experience/CAD skills are also invited to apply
- Previous experience or exposure to Surveying would be desirable but not essential
