The Bidding Manager is responsible for coordinating our bid processes including the elaboration of tender strategy and programme, development of competitive submissions, managing and coordinating tender team members and in‑house stakeholders, and formal communication process with the client.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reporting to Bid Director, coordination and programme management of the end‑to‑end bid process to produce competitive high‑quality bids.
  • Development of win strategy, gathering information through research, facilitating workshops and analysis of tender requirements to produce key messages, unique selling points and storyboards.
  • Development of tender programme and bid plan.
  • Support the relationship with client, managing formal communication process.
  • Coordinate tender submission development, writing and review process to produce detailed well‑structured responses.
  • Accountable for business development document control.
  • Accountable for tender instructions and tender strategy compliance.
  • Accountable for following and implementing company tender processes and procedures for tender management.
  • Fully understand business environment and culture, governance process, capabilities and resources to inform tender strategy and programme, and coordinate in‑house input.
  • Write communications, reporting documents and bid proposal documents as required.
  • Contribute to business development database development.

Technical skills and Competencies

  • Meticulous in your approach. Keen eye for detail with ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines whilst maintaining a professional approach.
  • Excellent organisational skills, self‑driven and proactive. Able to manage and motivate others.
  • Team player, collaborative and sociable. Natural communicator with excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Confident in writing communications, bids, proposals, and leading workshops.
  • Proficient in MS Office.

Qualifications, Certifications and Experience

  • Bachelors of Degree in construction/engineering field.
  • Relevant experience working as bid manager in construction/architectural/design company.
  • PMP or PMQ or any alternative project management certification.
