The Marine Administrator provides essential support to the Marine Delivery Team, ensuring the smooth and efficient coordination of day-to-day marine operations through reliable and proactive administrative assistance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Marine Delivery Team, including Marine Project Managers, Engineers, and Supervisors.
  • Assist with the coordination of marine operations.
  • Prepare, process, and track purchase orders and delivery documentation related to marine works.
  • Maintain accurate records of marine activities, including permits, licences, and compliance documentation.
  • Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, port authorities, and internal departments to resolve queries.
  • Assist with reporting on marine progress, costs, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate meetings, take minutes, and track actions for the marine team.
  • Support health, safety, and environmental documentation specific to marine works.

Technical Skills And Competencies

  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Computer literate (Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint, email) with strong administrative capability.

Qualifications, Certifications And Experience

  • Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within construction, infrastructure, or marine environments.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Experience supporting project delivery teams is advantageous.
