Your new company You will be joining a top-tier Civil Engineering contractor renowned for delivering major and complex projects across the UK. Due to their continued success, they are now seeking to add a Commercial Manager to their team. Your new role In this role you will be responsible for, but not limited to, reviewing commercial plans to deliver maximum margin, managing CVRs on a monthly basis, providing contractual advice during the tendering process, managing monthly commercial audit processes, managing and reviewing costs to complete forecasts, maximising monthly valuations as well as dealing with claim preparations, final account negotiations and settlements. What you'll need to succeed In order to be successful, you will hold a degree in Quantity Surveying (or experience equivalent) and have previous experience in surveying and commercial line management. You will be well-versed with NEC forms of contracts and come from a Civil Engineering background. In addition, you will have excellent interpersonal and networking skills and be able to prioritise a busy workload and meet project deadlines.
