Who is Dr. Wolff?
Our standout brands—Alpecin, Plantur, V-San, Bioniq®, Alcina, Linola, and Karex—are well-known and widely recognised. From memorable TV commercials like “German engineering for your hair” and “Doping for the hair” to our presence in supermarkets, pharmacies, and online marketplaces, our brands are everywhere. Based in Bielefeld, Germany, we’re a fourth-generation family business with around 900 employees.
We set ourselves apart from large multinational corporations by daring to be different and tackling challenges others shy away from. Our bold, fearless approach leads us to forge new paths where others don\’t venture. Over a century ago, we began as a small pharmaceutical factory, and today we’re one of Germany’s largest and most dynamic medium-sized family businesses in the pharmaceutical and personal care market.
