Job Description
Location: Primarily based in London stores (Westfield White City and Stratford), with occasional travel outside of London for events, store openings, etc.
Hours of Work: Wednesday – Sunday, 8 hours per day (excluding a one-hour unpaid lunch break)
Key Responsibilities:
- Recommend and confidently sell all Dr Sam’s products.
- Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to team sales objectives.
- Build genuine and strong relationships with customers and store teams to drive repeat business and brand awareness.
- Carry out operational checks during visits, including stock levels, replenishment of testers, and maintenance of displays.
- Stay up-to-date with product/brand education to ensure the highest level of service.
- Provide ongoing in-store training for our key retailers, ensuring all store staff are well versed in Dr Sam’s products and brand values.
- Participate in and help organise store events designed to promote brand image, awareness, and maximise sales.
- Engage with customers through in store activities such as product application demos, our Routine Finder Quiz, and popup events.
- Provide daily/weekly reports to management.
- Collaborate with the Retail and Education Manager to develop and implement strategies for store performance, event planning, staff training, and sales growth.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven retail experience within the beauty industry, ideally skincare.
- Skincare knowledge / passion preferred
- Demonstrable ability to provide personalised and effective customer service.
- Track record of achieving sales and customer service targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and store teams.
- Strong attention to detail, initiative, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment that requires multi-tasking with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays as needed.
- Ability to travel across sites and outside of London according to the needs of the business.
