- Design and optimise synthetic pathways for complex APIs and intermediates.
- Conduct literature reviews, lab-scale experiments, and support scale-up activities.
- Collaborate with analytical scientists to define and meet compound specifications.
- Present your work in cross-site project reviews and contribute to technology transfer documentation.
- Engage with global teams to bring your chemistry from bench to production.
Qualifications
- A PhD (or equivalent) in synthetic organic chemistry or a related field
- Postdoctoral or industrial experience is a plus
- A strong track record in developing synthetic routes to complex molecules
- Experience with peptides, oligonucleotides, or ADCs is preferred
- Deep theoretical and practical knowledge of synthetic chemistry
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across diverse teams
