Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and efficient Warehouse Operative to join our team in Mirfield, United Kingdom.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining smooth warehouse operations through accurate inventory management, careful handling of goods, and organized stock control.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high safety standards.

  • Receive, unload, and organize incoming shipments according to warehouse procedures and safety protocols
  • Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch using warehouse management systems
  • Maintain organized and clean warehouse spaces, ensuring all items are properly stored and easily accessible
  • Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile inventory records to ensure accuracy
  • Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, safely and efficiently
  • Monitor stock levels and alert management to low inventory or discrepancies
  • Load outgoing shipments onto vehicles and ensure proper documentation
  • Follow all health and safety regulations and report any hazards or incidents immediately
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity targets and deadlines
  • Maintain accurate records of warehouse activities and transactions

Qualifications

  • Warehouse or Operational experience (preferably in a chemical, c GMP environment or equivalently regulated environment)
  • FLT qualified and proficient
  • Beneficial
  • Understanding of the importance of the warehousing operation in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience using SAP (or equivalent system)
  • Experience of chemical risk assessments with regards to sampling, storage and segregation
