A leading and reputable finance company currently requires a Trainee Mortgage Advisor / Business Development Executive. It will train and develop you into a fully authorised Mortgage Broker, starting as an internal Business Development Executive, and moving into the position of Mortgage Broker. It will pay for your CeMAP qualifications. A real career advancement opportunity into an exciting and rewarding sector.

Guaranteed annual salary of £30,000, made up with a guaranteed monthly bonus of £500 (minimum) and a base salary of £24,000, plus a comprehensive benefits package, staff incentives, full training, and financing for your CeMAP qualification.

Trainee Mortgage Advisor Overview: The primary role of a Mortgage Broker is to market the company and actively establish a network of mortgage brokers and independent financial advisors, from which customer referrals are generated.

Trainee Mortgage Advisor Main Duties:

  • The development of new business, via methods such as canvassing, outbound, and inbound telemarketing.
  • Build up a broker database and maintain good relationships accordingly.
  • To maintain a competent level of understanding of mainstream lender’s underwriting policies and procedures.
  • Sales processing and accurate data entry.
  • Submission of timely and accurate application packs.
  • Adherence to quality and compliance standards.
  • To assist the Specialist Mortgage Advisor at the applicable stages of the sales process.
  • To pay high regard to Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) regulations including Treating Customers Fairly Principles.
  • Encourage and maintain a high level of customer service and excellence.
  • To pay particular attention to ensuring the confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • To always behave in a positive and professional manner when representing the company.
  • General housekeeping duties, ensuring the office is kept tidy.
  • To follow all company policies and procedures.
  • Any other duties as requested by your Manager.
