We are seeking a dedicated and professional Aesthetic Doctor’s Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about aesthetics, patient care, and maintaining the highest standards of clinical safety and excellence. This is a temp cover role (4 month contract) with an immediate start.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome patients, ensuring they feel at ease in a professional and luxurious environment.
  • Address patient queries about treatments, clinic policies, and aftercare with professionalism and empathy.
  • Prepare treatment rooms and ensure they meet CQC standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Assist the doctor during aesthetic procedures, including injectables, skin rejuvenation, and laser treatments.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, including consent forms and treatment notes.
  • Ensure compliance with infection prevention and control protocols in line with CQC requirements.
  • Schedule and manage patient appointments, maintaining an efficient clinic diary.
  • Monitor and manage stock levels for medical supplies, ensuring the clinic is well-equipped at all times.
  • Work closely with the reception and management teams to ensure seamless daily operations.
  • Support CQC inspections by adhering to documentation, policies, and standards set out by the regulatory body.
  • Stay informed about advancements in aesthetic treatments, techniques, and technologies.
  • Attend in-house training sessions and external courses to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the clinic.

Skills & Experience Required:

Essential:

  • Previous experience working as a doctors chaperone in an aesthetic, dermatology, or medical clinic environment.
  • Strong understanding of aesthetic procedures, including injectables, skin treatments, and laser treatments.
  • Knowledge of CQC standards and regulations, with a commitment to upholding these at all times.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
  • Outstanding communication skills with a professional and approachable manner.
  • Ability to handle confidential patient information with discretion and sensitivity.

Desirable:

  • Level 3 or equivalent qualification in beauty therapy, aesthetics, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of medical-grade skincare and aesthetic brands.
