YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Great news! We have a fantastic opportunity for Category Executive to join our Category and Insight Team in the Ecommerce and Convenience channels. We're looking for someone who can help lead the category agenda for the ecommerce and convenience channels. You'll be able to build great category relationships, both internally and externally and use these to support the Category team in the delivery of insight to retailers. A key element of the role is helping identify consumer and shopper insights and storytelling, so experience of working with and understanding large amounts of data is crucial.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Experience of working with or within a retail environment with strong commercial awareness.
  • Ability to work with large data sets to understand category performance challenges and opportunities.
  • IT literate, ability to use Microsoft Office packages. Proficiency in Excel would be an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to deliver insights in a compelling and memorable way.

The role will be based from our Leeds Head Office (Thorpe Park, Leeds) and we are currently working to a hybrid working model where 2/3 days per week are home working. You do need to be able to commute to our Leeds Head Office, Leyland Production site and other external locations for face to face collaboration and to meet business requirements.
