Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (4-5-5 Pattern - Night Shift) Maintenance | Leyland | Full Time | Permanent
Dr Oetker UK, the home of Ristorante and Chicago Town pizzas, have a fantastic opportunity for fully qualified, multi-skilled, Maintenance Engineers to join our state-of-the-art production facility in Leyland. What We Offer
This vacancy is for a permanent nights role working 12 hour-shifts on a 4-5-5 block pattern. The 4-5-5 cycle repeats every 8 weeks; 4on, 5off, 5on, 4 off, 5on, 5off etc. This schedule provides an improvement on the traditional 4on - 4off pattern with 2 weekends off in every 4 weeks - and every weekend-off is a long weekend! This enhances your work-life balance and allows more quality time with family and friends, hobbies, and personal pursuits.
Salary
The salary starts from £58,396.32 - £60,829.50 (£29.01 - £30.22 per hour). Starting salary is dependent upon qualifications, skills, and experience. Overtime is paid at x1.5 the hourly rate.

Your Responsibilities
- Uphold high standards in Health and Safety, Food Safety, and GMP, to ensure a safe, secure, and compliant work environment.
- Be part of a dedicated Engineering Maintenance team that plays a key role in ensuring the smooth running of all machinery in the production areas.
- Providing a proactive and reactive professional engineering service, to maintain and improve the performance of the plant.
- Completing Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks.
- Troubleshooting, diagnosing and correcting equipment issues.
- Assist with root cause analysis to promote future reliability and improvements.
- Proactive involvement in Continuous Improvement initiatives.
What You Bring
- Educated to HNC, (or HND or degree Level) or equivalent and apprenticeship time-served Engineer.
- At least 2 years of post-apprenticeship engineering maintenance experience - ideally served within an FMCG hygienic production environment.
- Technologically savvy to enable full use of the CMMS systems, MS Office etc.
