Dr McDevitt & Partners is a small friendly Practice in Dumbarton Health Centre. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and reliable Receptionist/Administration assistant to join our team with excellent communication and IT skills as well as previous experience in a patient or customer facing role. Experience in a GP or Healthcare setting is desirable. However, full training will be provided for the right candidate.

The vacancy we have is part-time over 5 days between the hours of 8am to 6pm.

Role/Duties

The role will include:

  • Dealing with patients over the phone and at our reception desk.
  • Booking and cancelling appointments.
  • Signposting patients to the appropriate service.

You must be able to work under pressure, adapt to busy and unpredictable situations, whilst upholding patient confidentiality at all times.
