As our Sales Operations Coordinator you’ll be part of the Sales team working closely with brilliant people across the business. You’ll report directly to the Sales Operations Lead and will be at the core of fast‑moving, high‑impact initiatives shaping Dr. Martens – today and for the future. This is a 12‑month fixed‑term contract.
The Sales Operations role is pivotal in enabling the commercial team to deliver a premium, consumer‑centric experience across wholesale and B2B channels. It ensures operational excellence in order management, data accuracy, and process compliance, supporting the achievement of revenue, margin, and customer satisfaction targets.
Key responsibilities include:
- Order Management & Fulfilment – Ensure timely and accurate entry, validation, and release of customer orders in line with allocation coverage, delivery dates, and company targets.
- Customer Service & Issue Resolution – Act as the primary point of contact for wholesale partners and internal teams, resolving queries promptly to maintain service excellence and protect against failures in quality, cost, or delivery.
- Returns & Compliance – Manage returns strictly in accordance with company guidelines, ensuring compliance and minimising financial impact.
- Data Governance & Reporting – Maintain and audit customer master data, ensuring integrity across ERP/CRM systems. Provide regular reporting on workload, order status, and operational KPIs to Sales Manager.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration – Liaise with Supply & Demand, Distribution Centre, and Finance to ensure seamless execution of fulfilment, credit resolution, and value‑added services (VAS).
- Continuous Improvement – Identify process inefficiencies and propose improvements to enhance operational speed, accuracy, and scalability.
- Risk Management – Highlight and elevate issues impacting order fulfilment, inventory allocation, or customer satisfaction, ensuring proactive resolution.
KEY SKILLS & CAPABILITIES
- Technical expertise – Strong proficiency in ERP and CRM systems; advanced Excel skills; EDI literacy is a plus.
- Analytical & Detail orientation – Ability to interpret data, maintain accuracy, and identify trends or anomalies.
- Process & Operational knowledge – Deep understanding of order‑to‑cash processes, supply chain principles, and wholesale operations.
- Communication & Collaboration – Exceptional interpersonal skills to manage relationships across internal teams and external partners.
- Problem‑Solving & Adaptability – Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, prioritise effectively, and adapt to change.
