THE GIG
Our Supply Chain is our most significant cost area and covers everything from sourcing of our materials & production, through to distribution to our consumers. We have our own UK factory in Northamptonshire, as well as having outsourced production across Asia (including sourcing offices). We operate from a total of 10 warehouses globally and have Commercial offices in Americas, EMEA and Asia-Pacific.
In this role you will be accountable for financial support and analysis enabling excellent decision-making in delivery of the DM Product strategic and development programme. You will be responsible to obtain pricing of key costing components, selling prices, and providing comprehensive data analysis back to Global teams.
As our Product Margin Finance Analyst, you will be responsible for:
- Creating, set up and maintaining new product cost and profit for each seasonal launch and carry over ranges.
- Analysing and continuously developing Profitability analysis of current products and regular reporting of status and concerns.
- Reviewing and validating seasonal costs, ensuring they are in line with agreed pricing and follow expected trends and inflation.
- Delivering complex weighted average margin data through a variety of lenses (Regional/Channel/Product), throughout forecast cycles and as ad-hoc scenarios arise.
- Aiding in development of product costing tool and product lifecycle management system, ensuring key data required is captured for benchmarking and analysis. Maintain up-to date information in these systems.
- Providing crisp and concise output from your work that enables connection to the broader business picture, budget, and long-range plans, enabling clear understanding of proposed decisions, their expected results, risks, gaps, action plans and help needed to facilitate success.
- Working multi-functionally as projects require, enabling proper communication across project teams, fostering open and transparent cross-functional working relationships.
THE STUFF THAT SETS YOU APART
Put simply, for this role the key things we’re looking for are:
- Finalist or Fully Qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA.
- Strong proficiency in Excel, Power Query, and PowerPoint essential.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics and OneStream highly desirable.
- Background in Retail, Consumer, Commercial, or Supply Chain industries advantageous.
- Analytical and logical thinker with a keen eye for detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Experienced in Commercial or Business Systems Analysis, including Standard & Product Costing Models.
- Clear and confident communicator, able to present complex data in a simple, credible, and engaging manner to all levels. Building trust and rapport quickly with stakeholders across the organisation.
- Skilled in evaluating data to inform decisions, anticipating challenges, and developing actionable plans.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks/projects efficiently under pressure.
- Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently when needed.
- Some travel between Cobbs Lane and Camden, London may be required.
