This role provides hands‑on coordination and operational support to the Retail Acceleration programme with a particular focus on the Assembly workstream (from concept design through to implementation). It acts as the delivery engine of the Assembly workstream—driving pace, progress and execution across a priority transformation programme. This individual ensures day-to-day execution runs smoothly across design and delivery activities. The role reports directly into the Retail Acceleration Programme Manager, with a dotted line into the Global Retail Design & Concepts Director to ensure alignment with the overall Retail Acceleration programme objectives.

CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Providing end-to-end programme coordination, acting as the primary support partner to the Global Retail Design & Concepts Director and Programme Manager by managing priorities, meetings, actions and delivery across the Assembly workstream.
  • Coordinating cross-functional and external stakeholders, working closely with design agencies, architectural partners, contractors and internal teams including Construction, Merchandising, IT, Learning & Development and Marketing to ensure aligned execution.
  • Driving programme governance and delivery, leading action-focused meetings, maintaining structured action trackers and proactively following up with stakeholders to remove blockers and keep projects on schedule.
  • Managing partner coordination and project administration, overseeing day-to-day activities such as prototypes, samples, approvals and feedback loops while ensuring smooth collaboration throughout the design and implementation lifecycle.
  • Maintaining robust project documentation and visibility, ensuring documentation, folder structures, progress tracking and project information are accurate, organised and accessible to support efficient programme delivery.

KEY SKILLS & CAPABILITIES

  • Strong project coordination experience, ideally within retail, store development or similar environments, with an understanding of retail design, architectural handover and store fit-out processes.
  • Excellent organisational, planning and delivery skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain attention to detail and drive complex cross-functional projects through to completion.
  • Proactive, self-starting approach, taking ownership, driving actions forward, escalating blockers appropriately and maintaining momentum in fast-paced and evolving environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, confidently coordinating internal teams and external partners while building alignment and ensuring timely decision-making.
  • Strong technical and administrative capability, with experience using tools such as Excel, Smartsheet and PowerPoint to track progress, manage project information and support programme delivery.
