As our Strategic Programme Manager – Programme Lace (Phase 2), you’ll be part of the Strategy team working closely with brilliant people across the business. You’ll be right at the heart of fast‑moving projects that shape how we show up for our consumers – today and tomorrow.

This role plays a pivotal part in driving our consumer‑centric strategy. Everything you do will help elevate the DM experience – whether you’re enabling teams, improving processes, influencing decision‑making, or crafting moments that matter for our consumers around the globe.

CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Programme Leadership & Delivery: Own end‑to‑end delivery of Programme Lace Phase 2, defining scope, roadmap and sequencing across planning workstreams while driving pace, ownership and delivery discipline.
  • Cross‑Functional Alignment & Operating Model: Orchestrate delivery across Supply Chain, Merchandising, Commercial and Markets; embed planning operating models, routines and decision rights, balancing global consistency with market needs.
  • Governance, Risk & Technology Delivery: Establish governance, KPIs and reporting; manage dependencies and risks, while leading rollout and adoption of planning technology and embedding new processes and behaviours.
  • Performance & Continuous Improvement: Track outcomes (forecast accuracy, availability, inventory, cycle time), translate data into actionable insight, ensure value realisation, and embed scalable ways of working with continuous improvement.

  • Experience & Domain Expertise: Proven track record leading complex, cross‑functional transformation programmes, ideally within supply chain/planning, with strong understanding of demand, supply and merchandise planning and tech‑enabled delivery.
  • Programme Leadership & Delivery Mindset: Brings structure to ambiguity, drives delivery across multiple teams, and applies strong governance, planning and risk management in fast‑paced environments.
  • Stakeholder Influence: Skilled in managing and aligning global stakeholders, influencing at senior level without authority, and working collaboratively with a pragmatic, outcomes‑focused approach.
  • Analytical & Operational Focus: Strong analytical capability, confident interpreting KPIs and performance metrics, with a clear focus on delivering measurable business impact and operational improvement.
