As our Performance Enablement Manager, you’ll be part of the People Team working closely with brilliant people across the business and reporting into Global Head of Talent, Learning & Performance. You’ll be right at the heart of fast‑moving projects that shape how we show up for our consumers - today and tomorrow.

The Performance Enablement Manager designs and delivers global frameworks and initiatives that enable high performance across Dr. Martens. This role ensures that performance development processes are simple, fair and aligned to our values, equipping managers and employees to set clear goals, give meaningful feedback and drive individual and business growth. By embedding performance enablement into the employee lifecycle, the role strengthens accountability, accelerates development and supports organisational effectiveness - critical enablers of our growth strategy.

CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Defining and implementing global performance management frameworks and processes that support growth, talent decisions and fair, inclusive performance assessment aligned to The DM Way.
  • Equipping managers and employees with toolkits, training and resources to enable effective goal setting, feedback, development and performance conversations.
  • Owning and optimising performance management systems and tools (including OpenBlend), ensuring effective workflows, governance and alignment with wider People systems and processes.
  • Building organisational capability by partnering with Learning & Development and leaders to strengthen performance, feedback and development practices across markets and functions.
  • Leading performance analytics, stakeholder engagement and change management, using insights, communication and adoption strategies to continuously improve performance culture and effectiveness.
KEY SKILLS & CAPABILITIES
  • Proven expertise in designing and delivering global performance management frameworks, processes and systems.
  • Strong capability in managing and optimising performance management platforms and enabling tools.
  • Skilled in change management and enablement, driving adoption of new processes, behaviours and ways of working at scale.
  • Data-driven mindset, using analytics and insights to measure effectiveness and inform continuous improvement.
  • Effective stakeholder partner and communicator, with an inclusive approach that promotes equity and supports meaningful performance conversations.
