As our Head of Global Merchandising, you’ll be part of the Brand team working closely with brilliant people across the business and reporting into Director Merchandising & Product. You’ll be right at the heart of fast‑moving projects that shape how we show up for our consumers - today and tomorrow.
The Head of Global Merchandising is responsible for shaping and executing the global merchandising strategy for Dr. Martens, ensuring the brand’s product offer is consumer‑centric, commercially robust, and aligned with our growth ambitions. This role is pivotal in translating brand strategy into a compelling, globally consistent product assortment that drives profitable growth, broadens our consumer base, and reinforces our premium positioning. The role partners closely with Product Management, Marketplace & GTM, Brand Marketing, and Finance teams to deliver a seamless consumer experience across all channels and geographies.
CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Leading global merchandising strategy, aligning product ranges with brand vision, consumer insights, and commercial objectives.
- Defining and managing assortments across categories, balancing icons, franchises, newness, and carryover to optimise growth.
- Driving consumer‑centric range architecture and seasonal/long‑range planning, integrating market trends, financial discipline, and scenario modelling.
- Partnering cross‑functionally with Product, GTM, Brand Marketing, and Finance to ensure integrated execution and go‑to‑market effectiveness.
- Monitoring performance, implementing corrective actions, and building a high‑performing merchandising team while championing data‑driven tools and processes.
