As our Head of Global Customer Acquisition, you’ll be part of the Customer team working closely with brilliant people across the business and reporting into Director – Global Customer. You’ll be right at the heart of fast‑moving projects that shape how we show up for our consumers - today and tomorrow.

The Head of Global Customer Acquisition is globally accountable for acquiring new customers and driving high‑quality traffic into the brand ecosystem. This position is responsible for building and scaling a best‑in‑class, global acquisition engine that delivers efficient, high-quality customer growth through automation and scale. This role leads integrated channel activation across SEO, Paid Social, PPC, Performance Partnerships, Influencers and other emerging performance channels to ensure high quality customer acquisition and aligned, data‑driven investment decisions across markets which drive the customer flywheel. This role is a key strategic lead within the current customer transformation programme, bringing a balanced, data‑driven and commercial approach across upper, mid, and lower funnel media investment. It partners closely with marketing functions to ensure brand investment is effectively measured and optimised through an integrated channel approach. The role leads the relationship from a performance perspective with our agency.

CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Defining and delivering the global customer acquisition strategy, establishing acquisition standards, KPIs, operating models and investment frameworks that drive sustainable customer growth while aligning with brand, commercial and customer objectives.
  • Leading integrated acquisition across all channels, overseeing paid, organic, partner and emerging channels to optimise full‑funnel performance, maximise ROI and improve the quality and efficiency of new customer acquisition.
  • Enabling markets through global frameworks and capability development, partnering with Brand, Marketing, Market GMs and agency partners to deliver scalable playbooks, optimise ways of working and empower markets to execute locally within global guardrails.
  • Driving acquisition performance and continuous optimisation, developing acquisition programmes, automation, testing strategies, AI‑enabled capabilities and strategic partnerships while monitoring KPIs, investment effectiveness and channel performance to inform decision‑making.
  • Building cross‑functional collaboration and operational excellence, working closely with global and market teams to align acquisition with brand storytelling, product priorities and commercial calendars, while acting as a centre of excellence that shares best practice and strengthens acquisition capability across the business.

  • Strong commercial and strategic capability, able to translate brand and business objectives into customer growth strategies, optimise full‑funnel performance and drive efficient, high‑quality customer acquisition at scale.
  • Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills, with experience leading high‑performing global teams, influencing cross‑functional stakeholders and managing agency partnerships to deliver aligned business outcomes.
  • Strong analytical and data‑driven mindset, using performance analytics, experimentation, forecasting and marketing technology to generate insights, inform strategic decisions and continuously improve acquisition performance.
  • An innovative and future‑focused approach, with a strong understanding of AI, marketing automation and emerging consumer behaviours, championing the practical application of AI to enhance decision‑making, productivity and acquisition effectiveness across the team.
