As our DTC Product Planner (Merchandiser), you’ll be part of the Product Planning team working closely with brilliant people across the business and reporting into DTC Product Planning Manager. You’ll be right at the heart of fast‑moving projects that shape how we show up for our consumers — today and tomorrow.
The DTC Product Senior Planner is responsible for leading product‑focused merchandising activities, ensuring seasonal assortments and trading strategies deliver strong commercial performance. This role manages forecasting, planning, and in‑season trading for assigned product categories, aligning global frameworks with local market needs. It plays a critical role in driving full‑price sell‑through through timely performance insights, trading actions and stock optimization across DTC channels.
CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Translating global product frameworks into clear category plans for the region.
- Leading seasonal planning and supporting range sign‑off.
- Owning demand forecasting and ongoing reforecasting.
- Monitoring weekly performance and taking actions to improve sell‑through and productivity.
- Working with Supply & Demand to manage stock flow and size availability across newness and continuity lines.
- Planning and delivering smooth new product launches across the season, ensuring strong execution and availability at launch.
- Working cross‑functionally with Product Teams, Digital, Retail Planning, Marketplace Merchandising, Supply & Demand and Marketing.
- Producing clear reporting and performance insight with clear actions.
- Supporting and coaching junior team members where needed.
- Ensuring plans align with global merchandising principles and brand direction.
KEY SKILLS & CAPABILITIES
- Experience in product planning or merchandising within a multi‑channel retail environment.
- Strong understanding of product performance drivers and lifecycle.
- Confident in forecasting, reforecasting and trading decisions.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into action.
- Advanced Excel and merchandising systems experience.
- Commercial mindset with the ability to balance sales, stock and availability.
