WHERE YOU CONTRIBUTE

The Logistics Administrator plays a critical role in supporting the efficient flow of materials, components and finished goods through the Made in England factory.

The role ensures accurate administration, coordination and communication across inbound and outbound logistics activities, helping maintain production continuity, inventory accuracy and on‑time delivery performance.

By providing reliable logistics and transport administration, maintaining accurate system records, and proactively resolving delivery and stock‑related issues, the role supports operational excellence across the factory.

The Logistics Administrator enables teams to meet consumer demand by ensuring products, materials and information are available at the right time, supporting a responsive and efficient supply chain that contributes to a high‑quality consumer experience.

  • CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Coordinate and administer inbound deliveries of raw materials, components and packaging to support uninterrupted factory operations.
  • Coordinate outbound shipments of finished goods, ensuring accurate documentation and timely dispatch.
  • Maintain accurate inventory movement, shipment and transport records within relevant business systems.
  • Create, update and manage logistics documentation including delivery notes, transport bookings, customs paperwork (where applicable) and shipment tracking records.
  • Monitor inbound and outbound deliveries, escalating delays, risks or service issues to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Liaise with suppliers, carriers, warehouses and internal teams to ensure efficient movement of goods and information.
  • Support production, purchasing and planning teams with logistics‑related administration and data requirements.
  • Investigate and resolve delivery discrepancies, stock movement queries and transport‑related issues.
  • Ensure logistics transactions and records are completed accurately and in a timely manner to support inventory integrity.
  • Support stock reconciliation activities and provide administrative support for inventory management processes.
  • Maintain compliance with company procedures, documentation standards, health and safety requirements and relevant transport regulations.
  • Produce routine logistics reports and performance information to support operational decision‑making.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify administrative processes and improve logistics efficiency.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across logistics, planning and supply chain operations.
  • KEY SKILLS & CAPABILITIES

  • Experience in logistics, transport, warehouse administration, purchasing or supply chain support activities.
  • Good understanding of inventory movements, goods receipt processes and transport administration.
  • Experience maintaining data accuracy within ERP, planning or warehouse management systems.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Understanding of logistics documentation and transport‑related processes.
  • Ability to interpret reports and manage detailed operational data accurately.
