As our Head of Brand FP&A, you’ll be part of the Finance team working closely with brilliant people across the business and reporting into Head of Functions FP&A. You’ll be right at the heart of fast‑moving projects that shape how we show up for our consumers - today and tomorrow.
WHERE YOU CONTRIBUTE
- Lead FP&A for the Brand function, ensuring financial planning, performance management and investment governance enable delivery of Dr. Martens’ brand strategy.
- This role partners with Global Brand & Marketing leadership to translate strategic priorities into actionable financial plans, balancing creativity with commercial discipline.
- It drives clarity on spend effectiveness, ROI and KPI alignment across campaigns, content, partnerships and consumer engagement initiatives.
CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Leading financial planning for Global Brand & Marketing, owning the annual budget, forecasting and long-range planning processes while ensuring alignment with corporate priorities and strategic objectives.
- Driving investment performance and commercial decision-making, developing ROI frameworks, scenario modelling and financial analysis to optimise brand investment, campaign performance and resource allocation across markets and channels.
- Delivering performance reporting and business insight, creating KPI dashboards that connect brand performance with financial outcomes and providing data-driven recommendations to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Maintaining financial governance and data integrity, ensuring compliance with financial policies, managing investment approvals and leveraging finance systems to deliver accurate, consistent reporting and a single source of truth for brand performance.
- Building strong cross-functional partnerships, collaborating with Brand, Marketing, Commercial, Strategy and Finance teams to align investment decisions with consumer priorities, growth opportunities and business objectives.
KEY SKILLS & CAPABILITIES
- Strong FP&A expertise, with experience leading budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis for Brand, Marketing or other commercial functions.
- Excellent commercial and strategic thinking, able to balance creative ambition with financial discipline, develop ROI models, evaluate investments and translate brand strategies into financial outcomes.
- Strong analytical and technical capability, with experience using consolidation and analytics platforms to connect financial performance with brand and marketing KPIs and support data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent business partnering and communication skills, able to influence senior stakeholders, provide constructive challenge and build strong relationships across Brand, Marketing, Strategy and Finance teams.
- Strong scenario planning and leadership capability, able to model risks and opportunities, support strategic decision-making and foster a collaborative, accountable and high‑performing culture aligned to the DM Way.
