As our Global Merchandiser – Accessories, MIE & Partnerships, you’ll be part of the Global Merchandising and Product team working closely with brilliant people across the business and reporting into Global Head of Merchandising and Product. You’ll be right at the heart of fast‑moving projects that shape how we show up for our consumers - today and tomorrow.

The Global Merchandiser – Accessories, Made In England (MIE) & Partnerships is responsible for shaping and delivering the commercial performance, strategic direction and long‑term health of the global Accessories, MIE & Partnerships category. This role plays a crucial part in shaping consumer perception, product strategy and category growth across regions and channels. This role owns the Accessories, MIE & Partnerships category range plan by balancing consumer insight, product lifecycle strategy, historic performance, commercial opportunities and brand relevance.

Working cross functionally with Product, Marketplace & GTM and Finance teams, the Global Merchandiser ensures the Accessories, MIE & Partnerships category assortment is strategically led, globally aligned and optimised for commercial success. The role directly contributes to key business KPIs including category revenue growth, SKU productivity, segmentation performance, product lifecycle efficiency, margin mix, sell through and franchise health with product offering.

Core accountabilities
  • Develop and execute the global Accessories, MIE & Partnerships category strategy, creating multi‑season plans that drive growth, optimise pricing, segmentation, product lifecycle, and assortment architecture aligned to consumer and brand needs.
  • Build and manage commercially effective assortments across DTC and B2B channels, ensuring the right balance of icons, franchises, newness, SKU efficiency, pricing tiers, and global consistency with local relevance.
  • Analyse category performance, consumer trends and competitive activity to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and provide actionable recommendations that improve sales, margin, productivity and product mix.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Product Management, Design, Marketplace Merchandising, Finance and Sales teams to align category strategies, deliver GTM readiness, support buy decisions and achieve commercial objectives.
  • Lead portfolio, pricing and lifecycle management while maintaining strong merchandising governance, accurate category data, and supporting the development of Associate Merchandisers through mentoring and clear ways of working.
Key skills & capabilities
  • Extensive merchandising experience with strong category ownership in footwear, apparel or consumer goods, including expertise in range planning, SKU optimisation, assortment strategy and product lifecycle management.
  • Strong commercial and analytical capability, with the ability to connect consumer insights, brand strategy and business performance, interpret sales and market data, build scenario modelling, and develop actionable recommendations; advanced Excel skills essential.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with a proven ability to influence cross‑functional teams and senior leaders while building strong partnerships across Product, Design, Planning, Marketing, Finance and Marketplace functions.
  • Deep understanding of Accessories, MIE & Partnerships categories, including silhouettes, materials, construction and consumer trends, with the ability to translate insights into commercially successful product and assortment decisions.
  • Highly organised and adaptable, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced global environment while delivering clear presentations, compelling strategic recommendations, strong governance, and supporting brand storytelling and category growth.
