As our Strategic Programme Manager – Marketplace & Social Commerce, you’ll be part of the Strategy team working closely with brilliant people across the business. You’ll be right at the heart of fast‑moving projects that shape how we show up for our consumers - today and tomorrow.
This role plays a pivotal part in driving our consumer centric strategy. Everything you do will help elevate the DM experience - whether you’re enabling teams, improving processes, influencing decision making, or crafting moments that matter for our consumers around the globe. You’ll help us push boundaries, raise the bar, and keep the spirit of DM alive in everything we deliver.
Core Accountabilities- Programme Leadership & Delivery: Own end‑to‑end delivery of Marketplace & Social Commerce, defining scope, roadmap and launch sequencing while driving pace, accountability and outcomes aligned to growth and experience goals.
- Cross‑Functional Alignment & Operating Model: Partner across Commercial, Digital, Brand, Tech, Finance, Legal and Supply Chain to embed the operating model, manage dependencies, and ensure teams are aligned to shared outcomes.
- Governance, Risk & Reporting: Establish clear governance (milestones, KPIs, reporting), track progress, manage risks and dependencies, and provide transparent updates to senior leadership (incl. GLT).
- Performance, Insight & Continuous Improvement: Track commercial impact and value realisation, translate delivery data into actionable insight, and embed scalable programme ways of working to continuously improve delivery.
- Experience & Domain Expertise: Proven track record leading complex, global, cross‑functional programmes with strong understanding of digital, eCommerce and marketplace models, including multi‑market launches.
- Programme Leadership & Delivery: Operates effectively at pace, bringing structure to ambiguity; strong in governance, planning and delivery, managing risks, dependencies and competing priorities.
- Stakeholder Influence: Skilled at engaging senior stakeholders, translating complexity into clear insight, and aligning teams without direct authority through a collaborative, solutions‑focused approach.
- Analytical & Commercial Focus: Strong analytical capability with ability to interpret KPIs and performance data, combined with a sharp commercial mindset focused on value, outcomes and impact.
