Overview

Seasonal Sales Assistant (8hr) – Edinburgh. Dr. Martens plc is preparing for the festive rush and we are looking for flexible part-time Sales Assistants to join our Edinburgh store during the busy Christmas period for 8 hours a week.

Sales Assistants are the backbone of our store during the holiday season, delivering exceptional customer service and helping customers find exactly what they are looking for. If you are passionate about Dr. Martens and have an outgoing personality, this could be the perfect role for you this season!

Responsibilities

  • Use your passion for Dr. Martens to drive sales and meet sales targets to help the store achieve its overall sales goals during this fast-paced period.
  • Infuse your personality into the customer experience and create an outstanding shopping experience for everyone who walks through our doors.
  • Efficiently handle transactions at the till in accordance with operating procedures.
  • Follow operating procedures, such as handling deliveries and ensuring timely replenishment.
  • Show empathy, work well within a team, and provide support as needed.

Qualifications / Qualities

  • Experience in a fast-paced customer-facing environment; fashion/footwear/lifestyle brand experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work under pressure and stay resilient as stores get busy.
  • Be a proud ambassador of our brand and culture, embodying our values even when the shop floor is busy.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to connect with different customers.
  • Professional, authentic and fearless in approach.
  • Flexibility in availability; shifts may vary week to week and coverage is needed across different days and times during the busy period.
