As our Senior Finance Analyst – B2B, you’ll be part of the Commercial Finance team working closely with brilliant people across the business and reporting into Head of Commercial Finance Group. As Senior Finance Analyst (B2B), you are the commercial finance partner for wholesale and distributor channels, providing insight, forecasting and performance governance that enable profitable growth and margin protection. You translate strategic growth levers into robust channel P&Ls and investment cases – supporting the targeted acceleration in wholesale and distributor revenue while safeguarding brand elevation through full‑price mix discipline. You ground decisions in consumer‑centric KPIs and a unified data stack, connecting revenue, margin and inventory outcomes to execution quality across accounts, assortments and tiered distribution.
CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Owning Wholesale & Distributor channel financial performance, delivering P&L reporting, variance analysis and insight to support reviews, budgeting and strategic decision‑making.
- Leading forecasting, scenario planning and margin analysis, providing recommendations on pricing, trade terms, mix and discount strategies to improve performance and forecast accuracy.
- Developing and evaluating investment cases, account profitability and assortment performance, supporting growth opportunities while protecting margin and ROI.
- Partnering with Supply Chain, Merchandising and Commercial teams to optimise inventory, full‑price sales, operational KPIs and overall channel profitability.
- Driving performance governance, cross‑functional decision support and reporting automation, ensuring consistent metrics, actionable insights and efficient financial processes.
KEY SKILLS & CAPABILITIES
- Advanced financial modelling and channel P&L expertise, with strong understanding of revenue, margin, EBIT/PBT, ROI, ASP and full‑price mix performance.
- Strong analytical capability across commercial and financial data, with experience building scalable reporting, KPI frameworks and decision‑support tools.
- Deep understanding of B2B channel economics, including trade terms, distribution models, branded space investments and account profitability.
- Proven ability to influence and partner effectively with Merchandising, Commercial, Market and Supply Chain teams within a matrixed environment.
- Strong commercial judgement and communication skills, able to translate operational and financial data into clear, actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders.
