Floor Manager – London Stores at Dr. Martens plc

We are looking for an engaging, inspirational Floor Manager to help lead a diverse team at one of our London stores, with positions across Central London stores.

You will work with the management team to provide leadership and direction, guiding your team to deliver an outstanding service offer that supports the growth of Dr. Martens while fostering a positive working environment and focusing on team well-being.

Responsibilities

  • Take responsibility for day-to-day retail operations to company expectations (coaching, sales analysis, visual merchandising and administration).
  • Assume responsibility for the store and team in the absence of the management team.
  • Take responsibility for health & safety and security issues within the store.
  • Achieve set KPIs (e.g., Sales/CR/UPT) in line with the store P&L budget.
  • Lead and implement high standards of customer experience and product knowledge within the team through a coaching approach to create a seamless and consistent customer experience.
  • Ensure stock management procedures are followed, including stock takes, processing deliveries, and loss prevention actions.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to take commercial decisions for the store in line with business objectives.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Passion for our product.
  • Experience as an Assistant Store Manager or Supervisor, ideally within a fashion/lifestyle brand, for a few years.
  • Confident in coaching, developing and mentoring teams.
  • Sales oriented and able to drive others to achieve store goals and objectives.
  • Demonstrates resilience with a solution-driven mindset.
  • Fluency in English at business level; additional languages are a benefit.
  • Good IT skills – confident with Microsoft Office and POS systems.
