We are recruiting for a German-speaking EU People Operations Coordinator to join us on a 12 Month Fixed Term basis. The role will be in a fast-paced People Operations team, providing a high standard of support to the People function and our employees. The candidate should be organised and able to prioritise workloads.
As the EU People Operations Coordinator, you will be part of the People team and report into the Senior People Operations Coordinator - EU. You will contribute to fast-moving projects that shape how we support our consumers today and tomorrow.
The EU People Operations Coordinator works closely with colleagues across the business within the People team to deliver employee lifecycle support for employees based in EMEA.
Core Accountabilities- Provide support to employees on all aspects of the employee lifecycle for employees based in EMEA.
- Administer the employee lifecycle in line with country legislation (e.g., joiners, movers, leavers, family leave, HR induction).
- Act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries, liaising with the wider People/Payroll Team.
- Ensure documentation from starters, leavers, and changes is processed in line with country legislation.
- Draft correspondence related to offer letters, contracts, and leavers letters as required.
- Manage sickness administration for in-country teams, ensuring relevant authorities are notified and documentation is filed.
- Support in-country benefits administration (e.g., meal vouchers, travel cards).
- Maintain both electronic and paper employee records, cleansing data and archiving in accordance with local legislation.
- Collaborate with in-country leads and payroll to provide a joined-up Operations experience for employees.
- Provide any other ad hoc support and administration for the HR team as required.
- Fluency in speaking and writing English and German.
- Experience in an administrative role.
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Ability to prioritise workload with a methodical approach.
- Strong customer service focus with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build positive working relationships within the People team and across departments.
- Familiarity with HR and Payroll systems such as Dayforce.
