The GIG

Sitting as part of our Global Sourcing team, you’ll support the sourcing teams with all administrative duties as well as ad hoc project work. This role is fast-paced, and you’ll need to have great attention to detail, be a great administrator and happy to stick with a task until the end as well as being adaptable when work tasks & priorities change. It also includes manual handling of filled cartons.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive the gold seals from suppliers (offshore and UK), checking against packing list
  • Update the internal GRN system, distributing parcels to the relevant personnel
  • Prepare the gold seals & paperwork for the Sourcing Manager team to sign off
  • Collect gold seals from storage when requested
  • Tag up samples once signed and prepare them to be returned to Suppliers
  • Complete packing lists and shipping documents on the bespoke courier system
  • Update Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system throughout the entire process
  • Create Weights & Dimensions documents in preparation for sending onto suppliers
  • Chase samples with suppliers, gold seals, studio samples, weights, and dimensions information
  • Upload completed documents to the PLM system
  • Liaising with several departments to ensure all are updated with sample deliveries
  • Housekeeping of previous gold seals to accommodate space for new samples
  • Stock taking of gold seals to ensure none are missing
  • Order placement for tags, tape, and sundry items
  • Ad hoc project work with the wider Sourcing team when required
