The BU Offshore in BA Wind is responsible for developing constructing and operating Offshore wind farms. BU Offshore currently consists of 12 operating windfarms with a total capacity of 4GW spread across Europe. The operating fleet is supported by strong centralized teams placed across Europe.In Primary Structures in Foundations we are a core team working with design of foundations for our new sites and helping our existing sites to keep our foundations in good shape. We are driven by a passion to optimize our structures to enable a fossil free future.Your tasks and responsibilitiesLead the team of engineers responsible for the monopile design for the Civil Sub-Package of foundation design.Support the CID manager on all subjects related to primary structure.Deliver primary steel design to the CID manager within scope and timeline.Responsible of technical queries related to primary structure and interfaces to other subjects during design fabrication installation and operation.Supplying support during development of sites and products.Ensure that our quality assurance procedure is followed within primary steel projects.LocationThe role is open to applications for our Vattenfall office locations in Kolding Hamburg or London. Limited Travel will be required within Europe.Qualifications : Our ideal candidate is in the second stage of the career.
