You will play a vital role in supporting production by handling materials and tooling through kitting storage and dispatch duties while maintaining accurate inventory and ensuring the smooth operation of store processes. The successful candidate will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and help keep the workplace safe and organized.Key Responsibilities:Receive inspect and accurately record all incoming materials in accordance with company procedures.Support production programmes through effective kitting of materials and updating of inventory systems.Package and dispatch materials and products to customers and sites as required.Operate and maintain the tool management system to ensure adequate and accurate levels of consumables are available.Perform regular cycle counts to ensure data accuracy and maintain integrity of the inventory system.Maintain housekeeping of store areas in line with Lean and Business Improvement Techniques (BiT) principles.Operate material handling equipment and vehicles safely when necessary.Conduct minor machine and equipment maintenance within the store area.Ensure the security and proper care of all equipment tools and materials under your responsibility.Participate actively in continuous improvement programmes to enhance store operations.Undertake training to develop capabilities and support other operatives in performing tasks efficiently and cost-effectively.Requirements:Previous experience in a store warehouse or production support role preferred.Ability and willingness to operate handling equipment and vehicles (appropriate training provided).Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Effective communication skills.Right to work in the UK (proof required prior to employment).Additional Information:Interview: Selected candidates will be invited to attend an onsite interview at Thales Belfast.Identification: Please bring valid identification that demonstrates your right to work in the UK (e.g. current UK or Irish Passport).Diversity & Inclusion: Thales is committed to supporting all candidates throughout the recruitment process and can provide reasonable adjustments to enable everyone to perform at their best.
